Its location within easy walking distance of St Catherine's Church was marvellous.

The stunning location in the Lake District was incredible for us, being close to beautiful gardens, a flowing river, and nature near Wast Water.

The rooms here are modern with big comfortable beds and beautiful views, plus there's a fantastic variety of breakfast options.

The rooms here are spacious and come with convenient amenities like a dishwasher, refrigerator, and electric kettle.

Location: the hotel was close enough to a lush valley, Stanley House, and good pubs and great food...

Generally, appreciated this quiet accommodation with very pleasant staff at Stanley House-1st staff member. The room of place was spotlessly clean with very large comfy bed. The hotel was in a stunning location so close to the Ravensglass/Eskdale 

This place is situated next to a miniature train station, close to the Hardknott Pass, a river, and within walking distance to Eskdale Mill.

The staff at Stanley House, especially the 1st staff member, were incredibly helpful. The lovely location of the hotel, right across from the train station, was a highlight.- The hotel is situated in a particularly good area. 

Overall it was spotlessly clean with a lovely view. The location was awesome and brilliant, around 10-15 minutes walk from Eskdale Mill.

We loved the spacious double family room and the cozy, comfortable beds. The shared kitchen had everything we needed to be self-sufficient, and the surrounding gardens were great for a leisurely stroll. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the nearby 

Absolutely amazing location, remote and scenic. Welcoming atmosphere with friendly guests. Plenty of space and facilities. Great for outdoor activities. Charming locals.

Stunning location, well-kept property with beautiful gardens and a stream. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Communal kitchen with great amenities, including an American style fridge with an ice maker. 

This place has become my go-to spot in Eskdale, the food is delicious and fantastic.
